History

This Cross was founded to reward members of the Italian Fascist youth organization Gioventu Italiana del Littorio (GIL).

It was awarded to young Italians whose behaviour adhered to the guidelines established by the GIL, and whose conduct furthered the ideals of Fascism and the GIL.

The Cross for Kids was awarded to Italian youths between the ages of 6-13, and the cross features dark red enamel.
