History

This Cross was conferred upon members of Italian Fire Brigades, and other fire-related services, in recognition of 15 years of long and faithful service.

There are two main versions of this Cross. The crosses minted during the Kingdom of Italy, and those minted by the Fascist government. The crosses issued first, during the Kingdom of Italy, do not feature fasces on the obverse medallion. The medals issued second, by the Fascist government, feature fasces on the obverse medallion.
