Physical Description


A circular bronze medal, the obverse bears the side-facing portrait of Amadeo I of Savoy encompassed with the inscription AMADEO I REY DE ESPANA, the reverse bears the image of three ships at sea, with a line at the bottom with the inscription 26 DE DICIEMBRE 1870, the top of the image is inscribed with A LA ESCUADRA DEL MEDITERRANEO, with a crown suspension on a red and green ribbon.
