Physical Description


An ovular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears the image of a woman holding a flag, with the inscription LEALTAD DESINTERES VALOR JULIO 1873, the reverse bears the inscription A LOS DEFENSORES DE LA CARRACA LA PATRIA AGRADECIDA, with an open ended wreath of laurel and palm tied with a ribbon in a bow, with a crown and loop suspension, on a green ribbon.
