Physical Description


A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears the bust of Alfonso XII encompassed by a border inscribed with ALFONSO XII 1876, the reverse bears the inscription JOLO topped with a cross with rays, encompassed by an open ended wreath of laurel with a ribbon with the inscription PATICOLO TAPUL LACUT-APLAC PARANG MAYBUM LIANG, below the wreath is a crescent moon, on a red and yellow striped ribbon.

The Jolo Campaign Medal was conferred upon members of the military that intervened in the Jolo Campaign.
