An ovular medal constructed of silvered-bronze, the obverse bears the coat of arms of the city of Cervera with the inscription A LOS DEFENSORES DE LA FIDELISIMA Y HEROICA CIUDAD DE VERVERA 16 DE FEBRERO DE 1875, the reverse is plain, on a navy ribbon with red and yellow stripes.
