Physical Description

An ovular medal constructed of silvered-bronze, the obverse bears the coat of arms of the city of Cervera with the inscription A LOS DEFENSORES DE LA FIDELISIMA Y HEROICA CIUDAD DE VERVERA 16 DE FEBRERO DE 1875, the reverse is plain, on a navy ribbon with red and yellow stripes.

History

The Medal for Cervera was created by Royal Decree on June 12, 1875. The medal was conferred upon the forces that participated in the defense of Cervera.
