Physical Description

An ovular medal constructed of silver, the obverse bears the bust of Alfonso XII encompassed by a border inscribed with INTEGRIDAD DE LA PATRIA / CONSANCIA, the reverse bears the coat of arms of Puerto Rico with F. I. encompassed by a border inscribed with VOLUNTARIOS DE PUERTO RICO, with a crown and ring for suspension on a red ribbon with a yellow stripe.
