Physical Description

A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears the bust of Carlos VII in a Captain General uniform, the reverse bears the cipher C7 under a royal crown, on a red and yellow ribbon, with a clasp inscribed with HOMENAJE A LOS VETERANOS CARLIS TAS 4 NOVIEMBRE 1908.

History

The medal was conferred as a commemorative award.

The Medal for Carlist Veterans was minted in 1908 to commemorate the service of the veterans of the Third Carlist War from 1872 to 1876.

The ribbon may be decorated with a clasp reading, "HOMENAGE A LOS VETERANOS CARLISTAS 4 DE NOVIEMBRE 1908".
