History


The Cross for Olmedilla was founded in Spain around 1840. It was conferred upon Spanish forces who defeated Carlists forces at the battle of Olmedilla on June 15, 1840.

The Star features an obverse inscription that translates "Expeditionary Army of the North," and a reverse inscription that translates "Morella May 30, 1840."
