The Cross for the Mobilized M.N. was instituted in Spain by the regency of Baldomero Espartero in recognition of the Spanish National Militias that mobilized in 1836 to fight against Carlists forces in the northern of Spain.

The Cross features an obverse inscription that translates "Fatherland and Freedom," and a reverse inscription that translates "Mobilized M.N."
