History


The M.N. Expeditionary Star was authorized by the Regency of Maria Christina in recognition of the members of the National Militia who joined the Spanish Army in the defense of the Constitutional Government of Cádiz in 1823.

This medal features the same design of the Star of Cadiz but with different inscription.

The Star features an obverse inscription that stands to "Expeditionary M.N. (National Militia)."
