History


The Medal for the Cuban Campaign, 1873 was conferred upon the volunteer forces of the Army and Navy who participated in the Cuba Campaign between 1869-1880.

When the medal was awarded for participating in the campaign it has a red ribbon with a black stripe in the centre, and it may be decorated with silver clasps for years of service.

When the medal was awarded to dependencies in the campaign it has a white ribbon with a black stripe in the centre, and it may be decorated with silver clasps for years of service.
