The Cross for the Reconquest of Pamplona and Bayona was founded by Fernando VII, and it was conferred upon the Spanish troops led by General Don Carlos España that ousted the French forces from Pamplona and Bayona in 1813-1814.

The Cross features an obverse inscription that translates to "To the Value and Discipline," and a reverse inscription that translates to "At Pamplona and Bayona in the Years 1813 and 1814."
