History


The Commemorative Medal for the VII Olympics was created in commemoration of the Anvers Olympics. It was awarded to 450 people between 1922 and 1924. The majority of these Medals were awarded to heads of state and ministers of the participating countries. Only 28 Medals were awarded to Belgian athletes.

The obverse inscription translates to "Albert, King of the Belgians."
