History

Established in commemoration of the 50 year anniversary of the establishment of the Danish Royal Guards Association, this medal is awarded by the Bureau in recognition of an individuals extraordinary effort to the association.

In exceptional cases, the medal may be awarded to individuals who are not members of the association, including foreigners.
