Established by King Christian X, this medal was awarded to Danish and foreign men and women who rendered services to the Allied Forces during WWII.

This medal was hung from a red ribbon that consisted for four white stripes, and when worn by a male, the ribbon was pentagonal shape and when worn by a woman the ribbon was in the shape of a loop.
