History


Established by Queen Margrethe II, this medal is awarded to recognize Danish Rescue Preparedness Service personnel who have participated in any humanitarian international operation outside the borders of the country that occurred after April 1, 1991.

The reverse inscription of the medal consists of the place name and year, that the recipient is being recognized for.

This medal may also be known as the "Fire and Rescue Services Medal".
