History

This medal was conferred upon members of the Royal Guards Association of Denmark.

There are three different obverse designs that are known, and two known reverse designs. The three obverse designs differ with the small details on the national emblem. The reverse designs differ in the design of the laurel wreath. The first version features and laurel wreath with thin leaves, with space between them, while the second version features a laurel wreath with fuller leaves, less space between them and a bow connecting the two stems.
