History
The Medal of Honour for Road Transport is awarded for long service in private and public road transportation. It may be awarded in absence of long service for acts of courage and devotion during service.
The Medal may also be awarded to those who suffered injuries while working which forced them to leave their position. The Medal can be awarded posthumously. The Gilt Medal is awarded for 35 years of service and the Silver Medal is awarded for 25 years of service.
The obverse inscription translates to “Public Works, Transportation, Tourism,” and the reverse inscription translates to “Medal of Honour for Road Transport.”
