The Medal of Honour for Indirect Taxation is awarded to reward officers and administrators for 30 years of service. It is regulated by the Ministry of Finance.

The medal has an obverse inscription that translates to “French Republic,” and a reverse inscription that translates to “Honour, Devotion, General Direction of Indirect Taxation.”

A similar Medal was extended to tax administrators in Algeria in 1907. See Medal of Honour for Tax Officers (Algeria) in the Medals and Decorations of France for more information.
