This Medal was awarded by the Governor-General of Indochina to workers in a variety of positions including those in industrial and commercial establishments, and domestics, for long and faithful service.

The Bronze Medal was awarded for 15 years of service, the Silver Medal was awarded for 25 years of service, and the Gold Medal was awarded for 35 years of service.

It is uncertain when this Medal ceased to be awarded.

The obverse inscription translates to “French Indochina,” and the reverse inscription translates to “Honour and Labour.”
