The Medal of Honour for Tax Officers (Algeria) was created on February 28, 1907. It was awarded to the administrative personnel and officers of various taxes in Algeria for long and faithful service of at least 20 years. It could be awarded in absence of this requirement for exceptional acts of courage and devotion.

It is uncertain when this Medal ceased to be awarded.

The obverse inscription translates to “French Republic,” and the reverse inscription translates to “Honour and Devotion, Tax Service of Algeria.”
