Physical Description

A rectangular pebbled clasp constructed of iron with a raised smooth silver border with a decorative double line. The obverse features the inscription ‘F. W. I.’ (for Friedrich Wilhelm I). The reverse is smooth with the framed maker mark ‘KAUPERT’. On a ribbon bar, the ribbon in purple with narrow black borders.
