Second Class; In bronze, measures, fine quality cross with good details, mounted on original ribbon 25mm wide. In very fine condition.

History


The Cross was originally founded by Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II and was conferred upon military personnel, regardless of rank, for demonstrating bravery during specific military campaigns and wars.

The Type VII Cross was conferred to reward meritorious service rendered during the Boxer-Rebellion of 1900-1901.
