History


The Commemorative Medal for 25 Years of Reign was instituted by Prince Karl Günther to commemorate the 25th year of his reign. The Medal was conferred upon high-ranking state and court officials, including members of the state parliament, mayors, foreign Heads of State, fire service chiefs, train station managers, leaders of industry, trade, and agriculture, Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers of the III. Battalion of the 7. Thüringisches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 71, and others.

Each medal was conferred with an award certificate. A total of 1635 medals were awarded.
