Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross – S&L 935-4 - (cross by maker Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, in 935 silver); magnetic core, silver frame marked “935” and “4” (incuse) on reverse top arm; silver loop is marked “935”; this is a textbook “B type” produced during Third Reich by Steinhauer & Lück; Cross weighs 30.1 grams (with loop); measures 48.10mm(w) x 48.21mm(h), and comes with a length of original ribbon (31cm); with excellent frosting, in mint condition. (Comes with Document of Authenticity from Dietrich Maerz).

This version of the S&L cross features two stamps on the reverse under the ring, "935" for silver grade, and the maker mark "4", S&L's PKZ number. The "4" stamp is incused. Very often, the stamps can be found upside down, but this is not always the case.

935 4 versions have yet to be proven to actually have been awarded and worn, yet they are accepted as period crosses. Since none could be proven to have been worn so far, the crosses encountered today are usually in fairly mint condition.
