This is an Honorific Order that was conferred upon non-combatants who participated in the Hungarian War of Independence.

The Order was considered Hungary's highest civilian award until it became obsolete in the 1860s.

The II Class and III Class feature a silver wreath on a green ribbon.

The II Class awards also features a gold coloured crown and a Lorrain Cross inside the silver wreath.

The II Class was only conferred upon two recipients.
