History

The Commemorative Medal for the Visit to the Caribbean Netherlands was established by Royal Decree in 2013. It was awarded in commemoration of the royal visit of King Willem-Alexander to the Caribbean Netherlands, which was the first official visit he made following his coronation.

The Silver Medal features a reverse inscription that translates to "Willem-Alexander, King of the Netherlands."

The Commemorative Medal for the Visit to the Caribbean Netherlands is identical to the Inauguration Medal (2013) and differs only in the ribbon.
