History


This Medal was established by the Quisling Government, and was conferred in commemoration of the Norwegians who served with the Germans in Finland's Winter War against the Soviet Union. It was awarded to approximately 300 volunteer Norwegian fighters.

This Medal may also be known as the "Volunteers for Finland Medal."
