History

This Medal is conferred upon members of the Slovenian Armed Forces, in recognition of at least 30 days of service rendered to a humanitarian mission or, service to initiate and preserve peace, in a NATO or United Nations Operation.

The reverse inscription of the medal translates to "At the Service of Peace."

The reverse of the medal is also engraved with the full name of the recipient, and the year of conferral.
