    The reverse of this Medal may be engraved with the recipients name. It is likely that the Medal that consists of surmounting crossed swords was conferred in recognition of effort in peace time, but due to the English to Slovenian language barrier that may not be correct.

History


Awarded by the Military of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia, this Medal is conferred upon all members of the Slovenian Territorial Defence, as well as, other individuals in recognition of outstanding courage in war or peace.

This Medal may be awarded posthumously.

This Medal may be conferred with two crossed swords surmounting the medal.
