The Davison's Trafalgar Medal was established by Alexander Davison, prize agent to Horatio Nelson, in commemoration of the victory at the Battle of Trafalgar on October 21, 1805. It was awarded to all surviving men of the HMS Victory who participated in the Battle.

The medal was issued unnamed and was typically worn on a dark blue ribbon.
