The Queen Alexandra's Children's Banquet Medal 1914 was instituted on December 28, 1914. 1300 Bronze Medals were presented to the sons and daughters of men in the Fleet or on the Western Front, as well as some Chelsea pensioners who attended the Guildhall banquet on December 28, 1914. Only 1 Medal was awarded per family and few Medals have survived.
