The Royal Visit to New Zealand Meal 1953-1954 was issued in commemoration of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip's visit to New Zealand between December 1953 and January 1954. The Bronze Medal was presented to local dignitaries and members of the royal party.

An additional Copper Medal was presented to all schoolchildren during the royal visit to New Zealand, which was issued with a folder telling the story of the royal family.
