The Visit of the Prince of Wales to India 1921-22 Medal was instituted in commemoration of the Prince of Wales' (later King Edward VII and the Duke of Windsor) visit to India during the royal tour in 1921 and 1922 abroad HMS Renown. It is estimated that only 84 Medals were presented.
