History


The Queen's Volunteer Reserves Medal was established in 1999 by Royal Warrant. The Medal is awarded to members of volunteer reserve forces in the British Army, the Royal Navy, and the Royal Air Force in recognition of meritorious service of at least 10 years. The annual contingent is limited to 13 recipients and all recipients are entitled to use to post-nominal letters QVRM.
