History

This insignia was introduced in March 1941 for HJ Leaders of Feuerwehrscharen (firefighters) and Technical Advisors (Sachbearbeiter) of a Gebiet (district). It is in the shape of a diamond with white horizontal and black vertical segments, has a carmine police-style eagle emblem, and six red flames above the eagle. In contrast to the badge of the regular firefighters, this one has a white border. It was worn on the lower left sleeve.
