History

The uniform worn in Wehrertüchtigungslager (military exercise camps) was the HJ wartime field training uniform. It was worn by all non-Officer HJ members when serving in WE-Lager during summer. In the winter the standard winter uniform of the HJ was used. It is unknown when this uniform was introduced or what material it consisted of.

The trousers are of the Überfallhose type. They are made of the same (unknown) material and are of the same colour as the fatigue jacket, which is either grey, green, or (possibly) brown. However, period pictures indicate that this was not always the case.
