History
A large national eagle emblem insignia was worn on the front of the Tropical Pith Helmet between 1934 and 1941. Officers wore a gilt eagle, while that of Administrative Officials with Officer-equivalent ranks wore a silvered eagle.
The eagle insignia was replaced by the pith helmet shield decals in 1941.
