SS Honorary Leaders (SS-Ehrenführer) used modified Standartenführer rank collar tabs, the same on the left and the right collar.

The collar tab is made of a black velvet backing with an aluminum thread oakleaf with two acorns. Additionally, there are three silver-coloured metal pips, one on the inside and two on the outside. The tabs are piped with aluminum twist cord.

If the Honorary Leader was attached to a specific unit, the unit number could be worn below the oakleaf on the right collar tab.
