History


The "Jagdstaffel Boelcke Nr. 2 1916/1918" cuff title was instituted in 1935 and it was conferred upon was conferred upon the officers and enlisted ranks who served with the Boelcke fighter unit during the First World War. In order to be eligible to receive the cuff title, an individual had to have served with the unit for at least a year, or less if they had been injured.

The award was withdrawn in October 1935 and it was only conferred 75 times.
