    Originally, the cuff title was around 40 cm long, however, starting on October 26, 1944 it was shortened to 22-25 cm. It is a commemorative cuff title. Cuff titles showing “1914/18” were most likely produced by accident.

History


The "Jagdstaffel Frhr. v. Richthofen Nr. 1 1917/1918" cuff title was introduced in April 1935 and it was conferred upon Officers and enlisted ranks who served in the Richthofen unit during the First World War.

The cuff title was withdrawn on October 29, 1935, and was only conferred 300 times.
