History

The Police Expert Skier Badge was instituted around November 1942 and was conferred upon Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers and men of the Ordnungs Polizei (Order Police) for successfully completing the Police Ski Instructors Advanced Examination in Winter 1941/42.

The Badge was also awarded to personnel who had passed the Expert Police Skier course five times.

The Badge is only comprised of one class, which is usually composed of white metal.
