History


The King Habibullah Honour Medal may also be known as the Sadaqat (Loyalty) Medal. The Medal is awarded in recognition of faithful service provided to the King after his accession to the Afghan throne.

The obverse features an Arabic inscription which translates to "Loyalty" and the reverse features an Arabic inscription which translates to "Amir Habibullah the Light of the Nation and of Religion" and is dated "1320."
