History

The 25th Anniversary of Shahanshah Aryamehr's Reign Award was established to commemorate the coronation of and granting of the title "Shahanshah Aryamehr" (King of Kings, Light of the Aryans), to Mohammad Reza Shah. It may also be known as the Silver Jubilee Award of the Reign of HIM Shahanshah Aryamehr. The Award is presented both as a Decoration and a Bronze Medal.

The Bronze Medal features Persian script on the reverse which translates to "In Celebration o the 25th Anniversary of the Reign of HIM Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi Shahanshah of Iran" and the date in Shahrivar "1344HS" which corresponds to September 1966.
