History

The Endeavour (Talash) Award was established in 1946. The award is presented as a Decoration in 3 Classes as well as a Medal in 3 Classes to other ranks of the Iranian police force in recognition of exemplary service.

A silver ribbon device in the design of a rising sun is authorized for wear on the ribbon of the II Class Decoration.
