History

The Long Service (Senin Khedmat) Award was established around 1950 to reward members of the Imperial Iranian Police Force for long and faithful service. The award was presented as a Decoration in 3 Classes to Officers and as a Medal, also in 3 Classes, to other ranks.

The I Class Medal was awarded to patrol personnel in recognition of 30 years of service and features a Persian inscription on the obverse which translates to "30 Years."

It is thought that distinct ribbon patterns exist to denote the Medal Class awarded.
