History

The Shah's Visit to Arsenal in Tehran Medal was created in 1885 in commemoration of the Imperial visit to Tehran's arsenal. The Medal was minted in Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

The obverse features Persian script which translates to "On the Occasion of the Royal Visit of the King of Kings of Iran to the Royal Arsenal that is a Glorious Event to Everyone, This Mintage was Made"
