History

The Medal of the Iraq Red Crescent Society was established in 1934 and is awarded in 3 Classes. It is believed that the Medal was issued under both the Monarchy and the Republic. It is expected that the Kingdom and Republic versions of the Medal differ by design. More research is necessary.

The I Class is composed of gold.
