History

The Medal of Dank was established by Presidential Law on April 16, 1996. The Medal is awarded to Kyrgyzstan citizens in recognition of significant achievements in public, industrial, scientific, technical, artistic, education, social, and charitable services.

The obverse features a Cyrillic inscription which translates to "Dank."
